Man dies in Newtownards road crash
A man has died following a road traffic collision on the Bangor Road in Newtownards, County Down this morning.
A white coloured Ford Transit van left the road and collided with a low-loader vehicle that was parked on the road, shortly before 10:20am.
There were no other injuries in the incident.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them on: 0845 600 8000 or alternatively on the confidential Crimestoppers number: 0800 555 111.

Serious Road Crash In L'Derry
A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.

Teenage Girl In Serious Condition After Being Hit By Car
Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager girl was hit by a car on the Upper Newtownards Road at about 08:40 on Tuesday morning. The girl is currently in a serious condition in hospital. Police have arrested a man, aged in his 30s, in connection with the incident.

A serving officer detected a suspicious object under his vehicle when parked at Shandon Park on Saturday afternoon, 01 June.
