Minister Opens FRS Recruitment
Irish Minister for Trade and Commerce Mr Michael Ahern officially opened the new offices of FRS Recruitment in Midleton, Co. Cork.
Speaking at the opening Minister Ahern said: “The opening these new offices further marks the expansion of a small successful company which has seen them develop a 10 Branch nationwide network of offices offering services across all disciplines including Executive Search, International Services, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Administration, IT and Production Operator recruitment.”
Continuing Minister Ahern said: “Operating to the highest professional standards FRS’s team of experienced Recruitment Consultants are committed to providing effective recruitment solutions across all sectors of industry and all regions of Ireland.
“This expansion by FRS is clear evidence of continued growth in the recruitment sector and of the attractive opportunities in the years ahead. Clearly, the level of business confidence in the sector remains quite buoyant and this augurs well not only for those running such businesses but also for those seeking a new job. Even at a time of virtual full employment, a dynamic economy is characterised by a healthy level of movement into and out of jobs as employees seek new prospects or greater opportunities or, indeed, are faced with finding a new job, as their old job is no longer available. If we are to continue to attract complex and demanding economic projects to this country we are going to have to be able to convince the promoters of such projects that we have the services infrastructure in place to identify and attract the best candidates from both the home and overseas skills pools.
“I am of the firm belief that a well functioning professional recruitment sector can help to put the new economic relationships between Ireland and other countries - on a long-term secure footing, with mutual benefits. Indeed, with the anticipated convergence between the economies of the newer EU Member States, for example, and countries like Ireland, there are sure to be opportunities for doing business in the opposite direction as persons who have worked in Ireland for some years decide to establish a business or take up an opportunity in their country of origin.
“It is a tribute to FRS Recruitment Limited that they have the commitment and self-confidence to establish themselves in new surroundings in what is already a very competitive sector. It is also, I suggest, a vote of confidence in the prospects for the Irish economy in general and for the labour market in particular in the years immediately ahead,” the Minister added.
In conclusion Minister Ahern said: “I wish all associated with FRS Recruitment every success with this new venture and warmly welcome them to Midleton where I am sure they will continue to develop and grow their business.”
