Three remanded on murder charges
Three people have been remanded in custody charged with the murder of a 42-year-old man in County Londonderry.
Husband and wife, James Meehan, 37, and Brenda Meehan, 38, and her 19-year-old son, Sean Anthony Devenney, appeared at Limavady Magistrate's Court. All three denied the charges.
Jim McFadden, 42, from County Londonderry, was beaten to death at his home, in Moyola Drive, in the early hours of Saturday morning after returning from a wedding at which his wife Ita was bridesmaid.
Mr McFadden's 15-year-old daughter suffered facial injuries and his son sustained a broken arm.

Three people have appeared in Londonderry Magistrates Court after cocaine with a street value of half a million pounds was seized in County Londonderry on Monday. Two men and a woman, all faced charges relating to being involved with drugs trafficking. All three have denied the charges.

Three people appear in court following Waterside murder
Three people have appeared in court on Monday on charges relating to the murder of a 42-year-old man in Londonderry at the weekend. Nigel Murphy died after being assaulted at his house in Clooney Terrace in the Waterside at about 6pm on Saturday.

Three men deny Derry killings
Three men have been remanded in custody following the murder of two men in Londonderry earlier in the week. All three men, Darren McCallion, 20, his brother, David McCallion, 23, and Dermot Kelly, 22, denied the charges when they appeared in Londonderry Magistrates Court.
