Police deal with trouble after Bangor parade
Police made four arrests when trouble flared following an Orange Order parade in Bangor.
The arrests were made in Castle Park when police said that a fight broke out.
Police said that they were subsequently attacked by a hostile crowd when investigating a disturbance. Four arrests were made and there were no reports of any injuries.
Later police were called to an incident on a Belfast-bound Bangor train following reports of fighting and damage to carriages. No arrests were made but police confirmed that a number of individuals were escorted from the train at Central Station.
The Orange Order said it was not aware of any members involved in the incidents.
A police spokesperson said that one man was later arrested in the Mountpottinger area when police came under attack from a group of youths throwing stones and bottles. One petrol bomb was also thrown at police during the incident.
