Police investigate ‘suspicious’ death in Strabane
Police in Strabane are investigating the suspicious death of a 43-year-old woman in the town.
The body of the woman was discovered in a house in the Churchview area of Strabane, County Tyrone last night.
It is understood a man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
There are no further details at present.

Appeal Issued For Missing Strabane Woman
Police are appealing for information to help trace missing Strabane woman Lesley McHugh. The 69-year-old was last in contract with her family at around 11pm on 06 January. She is described as being approximately 5ft 6inches tall, of slim build with brown hair. Searches are ongoing along the River Mourne into the River Foyle.

PSNI detectives investigating the death of a man in Strabane have named the victim as Kyle McDermot. The 24-year-old man from Ballymagorry died following an altercation, which took place on the night of Sunday 6 October in the Victoria Road area.

A woman has been arrested following the sudden death of a man in Magherafelt. A 46-year-old man died in L'Derry in the early hours of Tuesday, 05 December. Police are treating the death as suspicious. A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
