Victim critical after Co Antrim shooting
A man was rushed to hospital last night after a shooting incident in Co Antrim.
At around 8.30pm, two masked men burst into the victim's Dunluskin Gardens home in Carrickfergus before shooting him several times.
It is understood the man is in a critical condition after undergoing emergency surgery.
After the attack the gunmen made off on foot across waste ground. One man has since been arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries.
It is understood that the incident is linked to the loyalist feud which has so far claimed the lives of David Couples, Jonathan Stewart, and UDA member Roy Green.
Mr Green's funeral will be held later today.

Man Dies In Portadown Road Crash
An 18-year-old man has died following a collision in Portadown. The crash happened on the Dungannon Road between midnight and 12.30am on Wednesday, 08 November. The road has been re-opened. Elsewhere, a man, aged in his 30's, has died in a road collision in Co Antrim.

A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.

The PSNI have appeal for witnesses to or any one with any information about a shooting incident in west Belfast on Wednesday night. A man was shot in the leg at Creeslough Gardens at around 21:30 on Wednesday night. It is understood that victim is in his 40s and his injuries are not life threatening.
