Body of man found in County Armagh
One man has been arrested following the death of a man in Lurgan, County Armagh.
The victim has been named as Paul Andrew Magee, 39 from Woodville Street in Lurgan.
His body was found lying behind a house in the Shankill Street – Prospect Way area of the Shankill estate off Edward Street, close to the town centre at around 3.30am this morning.
Police have sealed off the area and a spokesperson has said they are following a “definite line of inquiry”.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two questioned following stabbing
A man has been stabbed in the throat, ear and hands in a knife attack in County Down. The man, aged 27, was attacked at around 9.30pm on Sunday in the South Street area of Newtownards. He made his way to a house in Holywood and was then taken to hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

Co Down Road Reopens Following Fire
A County Down road has reopened following a fire on Friday, 14 July. The Church Street area in Downpatrick was closed and diversions were put in place. The fire was discovered by officers on mobile patrol who were in attendance at a flat and they raised the alarm and residents were able to exit their properties.

Man Injured In Lurgan Shooting
A man has been injured in a shooting in Lurgan, Co Armagh. Two shots were fired at a house in the Ashleigh Crescent area just before 11pm on Sunday, 07 May. The man sustained a cut to his neck. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Escapes Injury During Shooting Attack In Co Armagh
A man has escaped injury after a shooting incident in Lurgan, County Armagh. Shots were fired at the 61-year-olds home in the Derry street area in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The front window and door were damaged. The police have launched an investigation, however a motive for the attack has not been established.
