Bullman sentenced to four years
A 32-year-old chef has been sentenced to four years in prison following a conviction for membership of the IRA.
Don Bullman from Fernwood Crescent in Wilton was arrested in Dublin in 2004 by Gardai investigating money laundering following the £26m Northern Bank robbery in Belfast.
Bullman was found to have a washing powder box containing over 94,000 euro.
No evidence was presented at the trial regarding the source of the money.
He was sentenced today at Dublin's Special Criminal Court Mr Justice Paul Butler said that he wished to make it clear that Bullman was being sentenced solely for the charges relating to IRA membership.
Sentencing Bullman, Mr Justice Butler said that he had taken a number of mitigating circumstances into consideration.

IRA Membership Charges Heard In Dublin
Two men have appeared in Dublin's Special Criminal Court, charged with membership of the IRA. Declan Geraghty, 27, with an address in Crumlin, and 30-year-old Stephen O'Shaughnessy from Tallaght were arrested on Saturday afternoon as part of a Gardaí operation.

1977 Soldier Murders: Man Bailed
A 54-year-old man arrested by detectives investigating the murders of two British soldiers in Belfast 36 years ago has been bailed. The suspect was detained in west Belfast yesterday in connection with the murders of Pte Michael Harrison, 19, and Pte Richard Turnbull, 18, who were serving with the Light Infantry.

Dublin pharmacist Karen Walsh has been jailed for a minimum of 20 years for murdering her neighbour Marie Rankin on Christmas Day in 2008. Walsh, 45, showed no emotion as Mr Justice Hart sentenced her at Belfast Crown Court for what he described as a sustained and brutal attack on an elderly, defenceless and frail woman.
