Around 300 jobs to go at County Antrim company
Around 300 jobs are to go at a County Antrim electronics company, it has today been reported.
US company Sanmina Electronics in Lisburn, which makes computer cabinets, has decided to move the company to Hungary, where it is understood that wage costs will be greatly reduced.
Staff were informed of the closure yesterday and were given 90 days notice.
Trade union officials are due to hold talks with management at the electronics factory later today.

Down Contractor Cuts 35 Jobs
An established County Down building firm has axed 35 jobs at its Kilkeel base. RG Coulter has operated in the town for over 40 years, but of recent times, has fallen victim to the housing market slowdown. At its peak the firm employed around 300 staff, making it the largest employer in the area.

Funeral takes place of burned murder victim
The funeral has taken place of a man so badly burned that he could only be identified from dental records. Father of two, William Trainor, from Gorteen Crescent in Limavady, was found by police behind the Masonic Hall in Limavady on 13 June.
