Hijacking incident in County Armagh
Police in County Armagh have appealed for information following a hijacking incident yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened on the Lower Foughill Road in Jonesborough at around 2.40pm, when two women who were travelling in a light green coloured BMW, were approached by three males.
The hijackers knocked the female passenger, a woman aged in her 80s, to the ground, before forcing the driver out of the vehicle and making off in the car.
The pensioner was taken to hospital for treatment after the incident, however her injuries were not serious. Both women were left badly shaken by their ordeal.
Detectives investigating the incident believe the attack may be linked to two other attempted hijackings in the area earlier in the day.
Anyone who may have witnessed the hijacking or anyone with any information on any of the incidents should contact police on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed during a car hijacking in Co Antrim on Tuesday. The incident occurred at the Kingsway Complex in Dunmurry at around 10pm. The man was getting into his vehicle when he was approached by another man who demanded his keys.

Appeal Issued Following Car Hijacking
Police have issued an appeal for information following the hijacking of car in Belfast. At around 8.45pm on Thursday (6 February), approximately 15 hooded youths pulled a man from his car – a white Ford Focus – and stole it. The incident happened in the Ross Street area of the city.
