Armed robbery in County Armagh store
Police in County Armagh have appealed for information following an armed robbery at a convenience store over the weekend.
The incident happened at around 7.30pm yesterday evening, when two-men, one armed with a handgun, entered the shop in the North Street area of Lurgan, threatened staff before stealing a sum of money and a quantity of cigarettes.
The pair then made off on foot in the direction of Lurgan town.
Detectives investigating the robbery have asked for any one who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have any information in connection with it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Police in County Tyrone have appealed for information following an armed robbery at a bank yesterday afternoon. The incident happened at around 3.45pm, when three men – one armed with a hatchet and another armed with a gun - entered a bank in the William Street area of Cookstown. The gang made off with an undisclosed sum of cash.

Armed robbery in west Belfast
Police in west Belfast have appealed for information following an armed robbery yesterday afternoon. Officers arrived at the DIY store in the Kennedy Centre after receiving reports of shots being fired. No one was injured during the incident, however one member of staff was taken to hospital for treatment for shock.

Police are appealing for information following an attempted armed robbery at a shop in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The incident occurred at a shop in the Larne Road area just after 7.40pm on Wednesday. A masked man armed with a knife demanded a staff member to open the till. However, the employee threw water over him and he made off empty handed.
