Two due in court over city burglaries
Two men are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates court later today charged in connection with a number of burglaries and criminal damage in the south Belfast area over the last two-months.
The pair were arrested during a planned police operation at a property in the Wolsley Street area of the city yesterday evening, during which, two females and a teenager were also arrested.
The two women have since been released pending reports, however the male is due to appear at the Juvenile Magistrates Court later today facing charges of breaching an ASBO and indecent exposure.
The charges followed the police operation last night, during which the youth climbed through the skylight in the property onto the roof.
Two police negotiators were brought in to help get the teenager down, however he remained there for two hours before eventually being brought down by the Fire and Rescue Service.
