Women threatened during armed robbery
Two women have been threatened during an armed robbery at their home in Dunmurry yesterday evening.
The incident happened shortly after 10pm, when three men, two of whom were armed with knives, entered the house in the Colinvale area of Dunmurry.
Two of the assailants held one of the woman downstairs, while a third man went upstairs and threatened a second woman.
The robbers then made off with an undisclosed sum of cash.
The women were not injured during the incident however were left shaken by their ordeal.
One of the men is described as being aged in his 30s, with tidily cut, receding sandy coloured hair.
The second man is said to be aged in his early 20s, with a square face, and was wearing a navy monkey hat, tracksuit bottoms and a dark coloured fleece.
The third man is said to have been aged in his 20s, with a dark moustache and was wearing a 'Reebok' monkey hat, jeans and tanned coloured shoes.
Police have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information in connection with the robbery, to contact them in Lisburn on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information on three incidents in County Down on Monday 15 May, which they believe are connected. At around 6.45pm, police received a report of a black coloured Audi car being driven with two masked men inside and tape covering the vehicle registration plates in the Millisle Road area of Donaghadee.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dromara Assault
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a report of an assault at licenced premises at the Rathfriland Road area of Dromara. Detective Inspector Bell said: "Shortly before 10:10pm on Friday 15th December, it was reported that an altercation occurred at a bar in the area following three men refused entry to the premises.

Man Dies In Portadown Road Crash
An 18-year-old man has died following a collision in Portadown. The crash happened on the Dungannon Road between midnight and 12.30am on Wednesday, 08 November. The road has been re-opened. Elsewhere, a man, aged in his 30's, has died in a road collision in Co Antrim.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Pair charged over drug seizure
Two men have been charged with drugs offences after drugs worth an estimated £300,000 were seized by police. The drugs were found in a car stopped on the M2 on Saturday. One man, aged 56, and another, aged 24, have been charged with posession of a class A drug and posession of a class A drug with intent to supply.
