Armed robbery in east Belfast

Police in east Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery yesterday evening.

The incident happened shortly after 8.30pm last night, when a man armed with a knife, entered a fast food outlet in the Bloomfield Road area of the city, and threatened staff and demanded that they hand over the contents of a till and a safe.

The robber then made off in the direction of Ravenscroft Avenue with an undisclosed sum of cash.

The thief is described as being aged in his later 20s, of medium build and around 5'10 in height.

He is said to have been wearing a light coloured hooded top, light blue jeans, dark coloured gloves and a dark coloured beanie hat.

Police have asked for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who may have any information in connection with it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000 or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Armed robbery in Cookstown
Police in Cookstown have appealed for information following an armed robbery at a jewellers shop yesterday evening. The incident happened shortly after 5pm, when a man armed with a handgun entered the shop on the Durn Road area of the town. He proceeded to threaten staff before making off with a quantity of gold chains and watches.

Appeal For Information On Armed Robbery In Keady
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an armed robbery at a service station in Keady last night, Tuesday 11 October. Shortly before 7.30pm two men wearing balaclavas and armed with a handgun and wheelbrace entered the store on Castleblayney Road. They threatened a teenage girl who was working there and demanded money.

Off-Licence In North Belfast Robbed
Police are appealing for information following a robbery at an off-licence in north Belfast. The incident occurred at premises on the Antrim Road on Monday at around 4.20pm. A man, who claimed he had a knife, made off with a small sum of cash. The suspect is described as around 5ft in tall and of slim build.

Gang rob city off-licence
Detectives investigating an armed robbery at an off licence in south Belfast yesterday evening have appealed for witnesses. The incident happened at around 7.30pm, when a gang of four males, one of whom was armed with a screwdriver, entered the shop in the Stranmillis Road area of the city and threatened staff.
