Petrol bombs thrown at family home

Police are treating a petrol-bomb attack at a home in Co Antrim last night as a sectarian incident.

At around 10.45pm, two petrol bombs were thrown at a house in the Ashley Park area of Dunmurray in south Belfast. A couple and their seven-year-old and 10-month-old children were in the house at the time but they were not injured in the incident. Minor damage was caused to the front door and a garage door.

Police condemned the attack as "something that could have had tragic consequences for the family".

Anyone who has information on the attack should contact police.

House targeted in suspected petrol bomb attack
Police in Co Down are appealing for information following a suspected petrol bomb attack at a house in Saintfield. The incident occurred at a property on the Listooder Road at around 12.45am on Monday. Scorch damage was caused to the front door of the house and a door mat was also destroyed by the fire.

House Damaged In Petrol Bomb attack
A house in Larne has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack, according to police. It happened on Church Way at around 10.30pm on Wednesday. A man was in the house at the time but was unhurt. Minor damage was caused to the property and a window was smashed. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Petrol Bomb Damages House In Belfast
A house in south Belfast has been left damaged following a petrol bomb attack. Police said the device was thrown at the front door of a property in Agra Street at around 9.20pm on Tuesday. A window to the property suffered minor scorch damage. It is thought a brick was also thrown at the house, smashing a window.

Petrol bombs thrown at Ballymena house
Police in County Antrim have appealed for information following a petrol bomb attack on a house in the early hours of this morning, Shortly after 1am, two devices were thrown at a house in the Millfield area of Ballymena, causing minor scorch damage to an exterior wall.
