Suspected arson attack in County Down
Police in County Down have appealed for information following a suspected arson attack in the early hours of this morning.
The fire broke out at a fast food outlet on the Belfast Road in Bangor shortly before 2.30am.
A small car was spotted driving away from the incident and police have asked for anyone who may have witnessed it or who may have any information in connection with the fire, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

ASSEMBLY CREATE AWARD TO HONOUR FIRE SERVICE
THE Northern Ireland Fire Service is to receive the first ever award given by the province's devolved assembly. An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

Appeal For Information On Suspected Arson Attack
The PSNI in Newtownards have issued an appeal for information following a suspected arson attack at a workshop in the town. Eleven vehicles were extensively damaged in a fire at the workshop on the Glenburn Road area, which was reported to emergency service at around 21:45 on Wednesday 01 March.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a suspicious fire at a garage in Coalisland at the weekend. One lorry was set on fire and a second damaged during the incident which occurred in the Ballynakilly Road area of the town shortly before 2am on Sunday.
