Searches resume for missing fishermen

The search has today resumed for seven crew members who have been missing since two boats sank off the Irish coast during separate incidents yesterday.

The first vessel, the Honeydew Two, sank off the coast of Waterford yesterday morning.

Two crew members were rescued from a lifeboat near Mine Head last night, however the other two members have not yet been found.

Meanwhile, five fishermen are still missing after their vessel, the Pere Charles, sank off coast of County Wexford on Wednesday night.

Two life rafts from the vessel were found during searches of the area yesterday, however there was no sign of any of the crew.

A number of trawlers have been dispatched this morning in a bid to find the missing men.
