Teenager sexually assaulted in north Belfast

Police have appealed for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in north Belfast yesterday evening.

The incident happened shortly before 6pm in the Woodvale Park area of the city, when the victim, who is understood to be in her late teens, was attacked by two men.

The teenager suffered cuts and bruises to her body during the attack.

Detectives in north Belfast have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone who may have been in the Woodvale Park or Ballygomartin Road area at the time of the attack, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Teenagers remanded over rape charges
Two 13-year-old boys have been remanded in custody charged with raping a woman in north Belfast last week. One is charged with rape, while the second is charged with aiding and abetting rape. The teenagers cannot be named for legal reasons. They are also charged with robbery.

Man Seriously Attacked In North Belfast
A 19-year-old man has been seriously attacked in north Belfast. The assault happened at his home in the St James Mews area at around 8.45am on Saturday, 15 July. The victim sustained "puncture wounds" to his shoulder, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
