Man due in court facing drugs charges

A 28-year-old man is due to appear in court charged with possession of a Class C drug with intent to supply.

The man is also charged with being concerned with the supply of a Class C drug.

He is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court later today.

It is understood that the charges are connected with an incident in Belfast city centre yesterday afternoon.

Man faces drugs offence charges
A 39-year-old man was to appear in court today charged with having drugs with intent to supply. The charge relates to the seizure of £400,000 worth of cannabis in Downpatrick on Wednesday. The Ardglass man will appear before Downpatrick Magistrates Court on Thursday. Elsewhere in Co Down, guns and ammunition have been found at a house in Banbridge.

Man Charged Over Suspected Drugs Offences
The PSNI joined forces with South Wales Police and arrested a 27-year-old man over suspected drugs offences following a search. The man was taken back to NI and charged over the supply of Diazepam and Xanax.
