Creative Media celebrate achieving IIP status
Creative Media has become only the fourth local firm to secure the Investors in People Standard, the Training and Employment Agency's award initiative based on 12 indicators of good practice.
The Omagh company, based in Church House on the Dublin Road, is the first graphic design firm in the west of the province to have obtained the prestigious commendation marking commitment, planning, action and evaluation.
Creative Media proprietor Marcus Isherwood said: "Obviously, I am delighted with this award and with the level of respect the company has established in such a short space of time."
Mr Isherwood paid tribute to office and operations manager, Tara Boyle, for her substantial input in preparation for the various assessments carried out in November 2002 that ultimately secured the investors award.
He said award acknowledged the "superb training and the merits of having good people under employment".
He added: "It is my intention to use the award as a benchmark to promote further and immediate growth. When I set up the company I did so with one other employee apart from myself. Now there are five others and expansion this year should create another two jobs."
Creative Media was founded in May 2000 and has attracted a high-profile clientele across the island of Ireland.
