Police appeal for missing teenager

Police in County Antrim and the family of 13-year-old Scott Telford are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare after he went missing over a week ago.

The teenager went missing at around 10.30am on the morning of November 16 in the Cushendall Road area of Ballymena, and has not been seen since.

Scott is described as being around 4' 8" in height, with light brown hair and green eyes.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a scarf, tracksuit bottoms, trainers and a coat.

Detectives have appealed to Scott, or anyone who may know of his whereabouts to contact them in Ballymena on 0845 600 800 or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing man Declan Mawhinney has been found safe and well, according to the police. Mr Mawhinney, 46, went missing from Letterkenny on Saturday at approximately 11.40pm. A missing person appeal was launched by the police and his family. He was located in Letterkenny on Tuesday. Police thank the public for their assistance.
