200 jobs 'at risk' at DIY stores
Around 200 members of staff at the five Budget DIY stores throughout Northern Ireland could be at risk after the company anounced that it had gone into administration.
PricewaterhouseCoopers have been appointed as administrators, and are expected to make an announcement on the situation later today.
Staff were warned of the possibility of redundancies on Friday afternoon.

Budget DIY closes NI stores
All of the Budget DIY stores have closed their doors today for the final time as a result of the store going into administration. Approximately 200 members of staff will be made redundant due to the closures, however administrators Pricewaterhouse Coopers have said that all staff will be paid in full.

Antrim Firm Awarded £10m Contract
SAM Mouldings in Antrim has won a £10 million contract with the UK DIY retailer Wickes as a result of business development support from Invest Northern Ireland. The contract was announced by the company's Managing Director Richard Holmes and welcomed by Invest NI’s Chief Executive Alastair Hamilton.

Bus Builders To Shed Over 200 Posts
Despite being the UK's largest coachbuilder, a Co Antrim manufacturer has revealed planned redundancies for well over 200 staff. After Wrightbus workers were called to a series of lunchtime meetings at the offices of the Ballymena company today the bad news was announced that it aims to make 235 staff redundant.

Discussions To Be Held Over 200 Job Losses At Ageas
Political representatives and Invest NI are told to hold a meeting with the management of Ageas Belfast today, Thursday, following the announcement of over 200 job losses. The firm plans to close its call centre at Springvale Business Parkm and a 90-day redundancy consultation period has began.
