Second Keady fire victim dies

The 21-year-old woman who was doused in petrol and set on fire during an incident in County Armagh last week, has died in hospital.

Lisa McClatchey, and her boyfriend Thomas O'Hare, were at their home in the Foley Road, in Keady last Monday evening, when a gang of up to six men broke into the property, beat the couple before dousing them in petrol, and setting them alight.

Mr O'Hare died from his injuries on Friday evening.

Earlier this week, a 43-year-old man appeared in court charged with withholding information and perverting the course of justice in connection with the incident.

Police investigating the murders have reissued their appeal for information and have asked for anyone who may have witnessed anyone in the Foley Road area of County Armagh on Monday November 6, between 8.30pm and 9.30pm, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Man dies in County Armagh collision
One man has died following a road traffic collision in County Armagh yesterday evening. The incident happened shortly after 8pm on the Mullaghbrack Road close to the Markethill area, where it is understood that a car and a lorry collided. No one else was injured in the incident. The victim has not yet been named.

'Shock and outrage' expressed over pensioner death
A Sinn Féin councillor has expressed his "shock and outrage" after a 73-year-old man died following the burglary of his home in Co Down at the weekend. Ted O'Hare, 73, was found dead by his three brothers at their farmhouse on the Tullymore Road, in Loughbrickland on Saturday evening.

County Armagh pensioner robbed in his home
Police in County Armagh have appealed for information following a burglary at the home of a pensioner on Thursday evening. A man aged in his 80's was at his home in the Ennis Close area of Lurgan, when three men broke into the property. The thieves ransacked the house, before making off with an undisclosed sum of money.

Man Killed In County Armagh Road Crash
Police have issued appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in County Armagh. A man, aged in his 60s, has died after his car left the road and collided with a tree on the Bessbrook Road near Markethill on Thursday, 11 January. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no one else in the vehicle at the time of the collision.

County Armagh man dies following road accident
A County Armagh man has died after he fell from the back of a jeep in County Louth. Stephen Rice, aged 27, from Crossmaglen, died in hospital following the accident which occured at around 10:30am on Sunday at Rassan in County Louth. It is understood that the victim had suffered a serious head injury after he fell from the back of the vehicle.
