Poll reveals support for St Andrews deal
A BBC poll has indicated that more than half the voters in Northern Ireland support the St Andrews agreement.
The poll conducted for the BBC's Hearts and Minds programme found that just over 54% backed the deal reached at St Andrews.
However, 23% said they did not support the agreement and a similar number were undecided.
Of the 1,100 polled in the survey, the lowest support was found among those indicating that they were DUP voters. They were 49% for the deal, with 32% against.
Those expressing a nationalist voting preference recorded strongest support for the deal, 62%.
However, there was scepticism that a First and Deputy First Minister would be established by November 24 and 63% doubted that the Assembly would be restored by March 26.
