Couple set on fire in County Armagh
Police in County Armagh have appealed for information after two people were set on fire during an attack in their home yesterday evening.
Shortly, after 9pm, a group of up to six men broke into the property in the Foley Road area Armagh.
After speaking to the male and female occupants, the gang poured a flammable liquid over the pair and then set them, and their home on fire.
The victims were taken to hospital, where the 21-year-old woman was treated for burns, and is said to be in a serious condition.
The 33-year-old man is described as being in a serious but stable condition.
Although detectives are following a definite line of inquiry, they have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information in connection with it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Man Arrested Over Double Murder
A man has been arrested in England over a double murder in County Armagh in 2006. The 33-year-old was arrested on Wednesday in the Essex area. Thomas O'Hare, 33, and Lisa McClatchey, 21, were doused in petrol and set alight at their home in Tassagh in November 2006. The man is due to appear in Armagh Court on Friday.

County Armagh man dies following road accident
A County Armagh man has died after he fell from the back of a jeep in County Louth. Stephen Rice, aged 27, from Crossmaglen, died in hospital following the accident which occured at around 10:30am on Sunday at Rassan in County Louth. It is understood that the victim had suffered a serious head injury after he fell from the back of the vehicle.

THE Northern Ireland Fire Service is to receive the first ever award given by the province's devolved assembly. An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

Car Damaged By Petrol Bomb In Lurgan
A car has been damaged after a petrol bomb was thrown in Lurgan, County Armagh. The incident is reported to have occurred in the Boconnell Court area at around 20:30 on Sunday.
