County Armagh pensioner robbed in his home
Police in County Armagh have appealed for information following a burglary at the home of a pensioner on Thursday evening.
A man aged in his 80's was at his home in the Ennis Close area of Lurgan, when three men broke into the property.
The thieves ransacked the house, before making off with an undisclosed sum of money.
The pensioner was left uninjured, but badly shaken by the ordeal.
Police in Lurgan have asked for anyone who may have noticed anyone suspicious in the area on Thursday evening, or anyone with any information in relation to the robbery, to contact detectives on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

The incident happened at around 1pm, when a woman called to the pensioner's home in the Huss Row area of city, claiming to be on a home visit from a local chemist.

Police in County Armagh have appealed for information after an 80-year-old woman was attacked during a robbery at her home yesterday afternoon. Three men, believed to be aged in their 20's, forced their way into the woman's home in the Tassagh Road, near Keady in County Armagh at around 4pm.
