Man due in court on attempted murder charge
A 29-year-old man is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court later today charged with attempted murder.
The charge is connected with a shooting incident in the Stewartstown Road area of west Belfast last Wednesday, during which a 26-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.
It is understood that police investigating the incident arrested the man in the Poleglass area of the city on Tuesday evening.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Shot In Legs In Co Armagh
A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh. A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs. The incident happened on Thursday night. The 26-year-old man has is being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

County Antrim man remanded on murder charge
A 34-year-old County Antrim man who appeared in Ballymena Magistrate's Court court today has been remanded in custody on a murder charge. Police said that the man, Dale Francis Kelly, 34, of The Roddens in Larne, had pleaded "not guilty" when the charge was put to him.
