Paramilitary style shooting in County Armagh
A 25-year-old man has been shot in a paramilitary style attack in County Armagh.
Shortly after 10.30pm yesterday evening, four masked men confronted the victim in his home in the Drumbeg area of Lurgan, then grabbed him and took him outside of the property.
They forced the man to the ground and proceeded to shoot him in the left leg.
The man was taken to hospital,where he was treated for his injuries.
A short time later, police attending the scene of the shooting came under sustained attack by youths who had gathered in the area.
A number of police vehicles were extensively damaged by stones, petrol bombs and other missiles which were being thrown.
The attack lasted for a number of hours, however no one was seriously injured.
Detectives in Craigavon have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed either the shooting, or the attack on police, or anyone with any information on either incident, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Man Shot In Both Legs In L'Derry
A man in his 30s has been shot several times in the legs in Co L'Derry. The shooting attack happened in the Rinmore Drive area at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, 09 August. The victim was shot in each ankle and once in the thigh. He is currently being treated in hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Man Arrested Over Shooting Attack In L'Derry
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting attack in Co L'Derry. A man, aged 23, was shot in the leg in the Central Drive area on Monday, 27 March. The suspect was detained in the Meenan Square area and was taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite in Belfast for questioning. He was later released unconditionally.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting attack in L'Derry. A man was shot in the leg at a premises in Central Drive on 27 March. A 26-year-old and a 49-year-old man were arrested on Wednesday, 19 April. They have been detained and are being questioned by the police.

The PSNI have appeal for witnesses to or any one with any information about a shooting incident in west Belfast on Wednesday night. A man was shot in the leg at Creeslough Gardens at around 21:30 on Wednesday night. It is understood that victim is in his 40s and his injuries are not life threatening.
