Five due in court after weekend riots
Five people are due to appear in Belfast Magistrates court following a riot in Newtownabbey on Saturday evening.
Four men, aged 18, 19, 24 and 41, along with a 34-year-old woman have been charged with a number of offences including riotous assembly and criminal damage.
The disturbances took place at around 11.15pm on Saturday, in the Diamond area of the loyalist Rathcoole estate on the outskirts of Belfast, when police investigating an assault in the area were attacked by a crowd of up to 20-people.

East Belfast Leaders Call To End Violence
41 loyalist and community organisations in east Belfast have put their name to a leaflet calling for the end of street violence in relation to the union flag debate at Belfast City Hall. A leaflet campaign was launched in the area on Thursday and featured a direct appeal to end the violence.

North Belfast Riots Condemned, Politicians Seek Solution
Northern Ireland's First Minister and Deputy First Minister have condemned those involved in a third night of violence in north Belfast, as MLAs and the MP from the area planned to sit down to talks. One police officers were injured last night in an hour of violence at about 10pm.

Riots-Accused Teenager Appears In Court
A 17-year-old who is accused of assaulting police during riots in north Belfast on Sunday has appeared in court. Belfast Magistrates Court heard a claim that the teenager had injured an officer in the leg during the violence in the Carlisle Circus area. He cannot be named because of his age.
