Two dead and one injured in County Antrim crash

Two people have been killed in a head-on collision in County Antrim.

The collision occured on the Ballybogey Road just after 12.35pm on Thursday.

One other person has been taken to hospital and is in a critical condition.

Police have advised that the Ballybogey Road is closed and that emergency services are at the scene.

A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man And Woman Attacked In Ballymena
A man and woman are being treated in hospital after being assaulted by masked men in County Antrim. A group of masked men forced their way into a house on the Ballybogey Road in Ballymena in the early hours of Tuesday morning. A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being questioned by the police.

Co Antrim Security Alert Declared A Hoax
A security alert in the County Antrim village of Ballycarry has been declared a hoax. The Island Road was closed in both directions for some time on Thursday 08 August following the discovery of a suspicious object. ATO were tasked to the scene and later confirmed the alert as a hoax.
