Pensioner robbed in County Armagh home
Police have appealed for information after an elderly woman was robbed in her County Armagh home on Tuesday evening.
Shortly after 5pm, the pensioner opened the door of the property in the Colane Road area of Lurgan, after persistent knocking, when three men, aged in their 20's, pushed past her and entered the house.
The men demanded that she hand over a sum of cash, then escaped through the back door of the property before making off in a waiting car.
The vehicle is described as a burgundy coloured Nissan Patrol, and a witness has told police that it may have been parked outside the house from around 4pm that afternoon.
Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery, or who may have any information in relation t it, are asked to contact detectives in Lurgan on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The incident happened around 9.20am when two masked men, one of whom was carrying a gun, attempted to board the train at Kilmore.

Fresh Appeal For Information On Shane Whitla Murder
PSNI detectives investigating the murder of 39-year-old Shane Whitla in Lurgan have issued an appeal for information and witnesses. A post-mortem examination confirmed that Mr Whitla died of a gunshot wound to the chest. According to report, he had also suffered a serious puncture wound to his neck.
