Pensioner robbed in County Armagh
Police in County Armagh have appealed for information after a 78-year-old man was robbed in his home at the weekend.
The incident happened at around 6.10pm yesterday evening, when three men called to the pensioners home on the Ballymore Road in Tandragee and pretended to be looking for directions.
The men then forced their way into the house and while one of the robbers pinned the victim to a chair, the other two ransacked the property.
The thieves then made their escape with an undisclosed sum of money.
The pensioner was not injured during the incident, however was left shaken by the ordeal.
It is understood that the robbers were aged in their 20's, and were all wearing jeans and t-shirts, one is which is believed to have been cream coloured.
Detectives in Armagh have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have any information in connection with it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Police in County Armagh have appealed for information following a burglary at the home of a pensioner on Thursday evening. A man aged in his 80's was at his home in the Ennis Close area of Lurgan, when three men broke into the property. The thieves ransacked the house, before making off with an undisclosed sum of money.

Police have appealed for information after an elderly woman was robbed in her County Armagh home on Tuesday evening. Shortly after 5pm, the pensioner opened the door of the property in the Colane Road area of Lurgan, after persistent knocking, when three men, aged in their 20's, pushed past her and entered the house.

Another pensioner has been robbed in the latest wave of attacks on the elderly across Northern Ireland. The latest incident happened in the Mowhan area in County Armagh at about 6pm on Thursday. The 86-year-old woman was robbed of several hundred pounds when she allowed a woman, reportedly in her 30s, who asked for a drink of water into her home.
