Man assaulted in County Armagh
Police in County Armagh have appealed for information after a man was assaulted in the early hours of Monday morning.
The incident happened in the William Street area of Lurgan at around 1.40am yesterday, when an altercation broke out between two men.
One man was treated in hospital for facial injuries, while a second man was arrested at the scene.
He has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Detectives in Lurgan are keen to speak to a number of people who are believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident, and have asked for anyone who may have witnessed anything in connection with the assault, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested Over Portadown Attack
A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an attack in Portadown on Sunday, 01 July. He was detained by the police in the Lurgan area on Wednesday, 04 July. A woman and man were inside a car in the Bridge Street area when a number of men attacked it. A male passenger was dragged out of the vehicle when it stopped at traffic lights.
