Indecent assault in County Tyrone

Police are investigating an indecent assault on a woman in County Tyrone in the early hours of this morning.

The attack happened as the 18-year-old victim was making her way home along the Lower Main Street area of Strabane shortly before 3am.

The attacker ran off after a taxi driver stopped to help the teenager.

The assailant is described as being aged in his early 20's, around 5'7 in height, and clean shaven.

He had brown hair and was wearing a cream coloured top and jeans.

Police Appeal After Early Morning Sexual Assault
Police in Belfast have appealed for help after a young woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The 18-year-old was attacked on Apsley Street in the south of the city sometime between 1am and 2am on Wednesday, a PSNI spokeswoman said.

A woman has been left with serious injuries in hospital after she was brutally attacked last weekend. Police said the female was walking in west Belfast early on Saturday 19 January when three unknown females carried out the unprovoked attack.

Several Shots Fired At House In Co Antrim
Shots have been fired at a property in Craigavon, Co Antrim. The attack happened in the Drumellan Mews area at around 6pm on Tuesday. No-one was injured in the incident. A man on a bike fired several shots at the rear of the property, according to police. He was wearing dark clothing and had a hat over his face.
