Petrol bomb attack in Ballymena

Police are investigating the motive for a petrol bomb attack on a house in County Antrim at the weekend.

The incident happened at around 1.20am on Sunday, when petrol bombs were thrown at the windows of a house in the Rathmore Heights area of Ballymena.

A car which was parked outside the house was also damaged during the attack.

Windows on the vehicle were smashed and a device was thrown inside.

House Damaged In Petrol Bomb attack
A house in Larne has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack, according to police. It happened on Church Way at around 10.30pm on Wednesday. A man was in the house at the time but was unhurt. Minor damage was caused to the property and a window was smashed. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two men have escaped injury following a petrol bomb attack at a house in Ballymena. The incident happened shortly before midnight on Edward Street on Thursday, 28 September. The living room window of the property was smashed and a petrol bomb was thrown inside and caused smoke damage to the curtains.
