Armed robbery at County Down bookmakers
Police in County Down have appealed for information following an armed robbery at a bookmakers yesterday evening.
The incident happened at around 4.30pm, when two men, armed with handguns, entered the premises in the Main Street area of Dundrum, and threatened staff, before making off with an undisclosed sum of cash
One of the robbers is described as being of heavy build, and was wearing a green jacket, jeans and a brown hat.
He was also wearing a pair of blue surgical gloves and was carrying a black bag.
The other man is described as being of thin build, and was wearing a black and white striped top, jeans, olive coloured jacket, white trainers, a light blue hat and surgical gloves.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information in relation to it, should contact police on 0845 600 8000 or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Holywood service station robbed
Police are investigating the robbery of a service station in Holywood Co Down last night. At around 8.20 pm two men surprised a member of staff at the rear store of the premises and lead her to the main office were they stole a large quantity of cigarettes and an undisclosed sum of cash.

Police in County Antrim have appealed for information following a robbery at a fast food outlet, in which a woman had a gun put to her head. Police have said that the female manager of the KFC on the Belfast Road in Carrickfergus was opening the store at around 9.30am yesterday, when she heard a knock at the back door.

A man armed with a handgun has robbed a shop in west Belfast. The incident happened at premises in the Suffolk Road area just after 9.45pm on Monday, 05 February. The man threatened staff and made off with a sum of money and cigarettes. He has been described as medium build and was wearing black jacket and blue denim jeans.

At about 20:40, two males entered a commercial premises and demanded money. One of the robbers was armed with a wheel brace. The pair made off with a sum of cash in the direction of Upper Nassau Street.
