Website launched to warn of drug abuse
The parents of a 28-year-old man who died from a drugs overdose a year-ago today have launched a website in a bid to warn other young people of the dangers of drug abuse.
Matthew Lyle, from Bangor in County Down, died after overdosing on morphine following years of misusing the drug.
Matthew's father, David, said that the reason for launching the website was an attempt to reach out to young people by publishing his son's story online.
The website includes photographs of Matthew throughout his life, and his own thoughts on his lengthy battle with drugs.
