Body found in County Londonderry

Police in County Londonderry have launched an investigation following the discovery of a body in the harbour earlier today.

The body was recovered from the harbour at Coleraine, shortly before 9am today by workers who were carrying out an extension of the marina in the Portstewart Road area of Coleraine.

A post mortem examination is due to be carried out on the man, who is believed to be in his mid 20s and from the area.

Police appeal following body find in house
The body of a man has been found at a house in Co Antrim on Thursday. The man, who is believed to be in his 50's, was discovered at the house in Ladysmith Terrace in the Harryville area of Ballymena at around 9pm. Police have appealed for information into tracing the man's movements over the last few days.

Co Fermanagh Man Dies In Sligo Rally Crash
Two drivers have died in a crash in a County Sligo rally. Daire Maguire from County Fermanagh and Gene McDonald were killed when the car they were racing in hit a wall in Ballymote at around 3pm on Sunday, 16 July. The incident happened during the sixth stage of the Sligo Stages Rally. No other car was involved.
