Man shot in north Belfast

Police are appealing for information following a shooting incident in north Belfast earlier today.

Shortly after midnight, a man aged in his 30's sustained a gunshot wound to his stomach, after a single shot was fire through the living room window of a house in Ballymoney Street, in the Oldpark area of the city.

The victim was taken to hospital, however his injuries are not believe to be life threatening.

Detectives are carrying out an investigation to establish a motive for the shooting, however at this stage a sectarian motive is not suspected.

Police Appeal After Man Shot Dead In Bangor
Police are appealing for information following the murder of Colin Horner, who was shot in front of his three-year-old son at Sainbury's car park in Bangor on Sunday, 28 May. The boy was in the car at the time of the attack. It is understood Mr Horner, originally from Co Antrim, has loyalist links.

Man Shot In Leg In North Belfast
A man has been shot in the leg in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Butler Walk area at around 10pm on Tuesday. The victim went to answer a knock at the door and before opening it he heard a loud bang and realised he had been shot in the leg. He received hospital treatment, however his injuries are not believed to be lift threatening.

Police Appeal After 'Shot Fired' In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after reports of a shot being fired in north Belfast. No-one is believed to have been injured in the incident in the Farringdon Court area on Thursday. Police are keen to establish what happened and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
