Changes to NI postal rates
Royal Mail has today introduced major changes to postage costs throughout Northern Ireland.
Previously, the system was based only on the weight of your items, however the new system will be based on both size and weight.
There are now three main size formats - Letter, Large Letter and Packet.
The cost of sending a standard letter will remain at the same price, however sending an A4 letter will increase by around 40%.
Although some things will cost more to send, over 80% of all mail will cost the same or less.
