House attacked by arsonists in Lurgan
Police in County Armagh are investigating an arson attack on a house in the area yesterday evening.
The incident happened at around 11.35pm, when neighbours noticed that a pram and wheelie bin had been set alight outside the property in the Limefield area of Lurgan.
Local residents managed to wake the occupant of the house who was asleep at the time and no one was injured in the incident.
A spokesperson for the PSNI has said that at this stage a petrol bomb is believed to have been used.
Detectives are yet to establish a motive for the attack, however an investigation into the circumstances surrounding it is to be carried out.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who may have any information in relation to it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

House attacked with petrol bombs
Police have revealed that they believe that a petrol bomb attack on a house in County Antrim in the early hours of this morning was carried out by mistake. A PSNI spokesperson said that it is now understood that the family living in the house were not the intended targets.

Belfast Hotel Plan Dropped: Report
A government-supported plan to build a hotel in central Belfast has been scrapped, the BBC has reported. Back in 2007, the Department for Social Development appointed Tullymore House Ltd as preferred developer for Armagh House in the city’s Ormeau Avenue, with plans to convert the building into an upmarket hotel.
