Man injured in Strabane shooting

Police in County Tyrone have appealed for information after a paramilitary style shooting in the early hours of this morning.

At around 1am, a 19-year-old man was approached by a gang of around six masked men as he made his way through the Fountain Terrace area of Strabane.

The teenager suffered a gunshot wound to his foot and was taken to hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.

PSNI Appeal For Information About West Belfast Shooting
The PSNI have appeal for witnesses to or any one with any information about a shooting incident in west Belfast on Wednesday night. A man was shot in the leg at Creeslough Gardens at around 21:30 on Wednesday night. It is understood that victim is in his 40s and his injuries are not life threatening.

Appeal After Shooting Incident In Strabane
Detectives in Strabane are appealing for information after reports of a shot being fired at a house in the Garvan Road area, Sion Mills on Wednesday, 15 February. A report of damage to a window of the house was received at approximately 10.45pm. No one was injured during this incident.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Man Shot In The Legs In West Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in west Belfast. A man is being treated in hospital after being shot in the legs in an incident at Forfar Lane in the Springfield Road area, which occurred at around 21:15 on Monday 13 June.

Strabane Shooting Condemned
A 24-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being shot in both legs in a paramilitary style attack on Monday evening. A local politician, SDLP West Tyrone Westminster candidate Joe Byrne (pictured) has condemned the shooting: "This was an undemocratic attack on the people of Strabane.
