Man killed in Co Armagh shooting
A man has been murdered and another injured following a shooting incident in Co Armagh today.
At around 10am, two men were found by police near the village of Cullaville. One man, who was suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest, was taken to Louth County Hospital in Dundalk. He died a short time later.
The second man was shot in the leg and is being treated in a Newry hospital – it is understood his condition is not life-threatening.
It is thought the shootings were linked to dissident republican terrorists.
SDLP assembly member for Newry and Armagh, John Fee, said the shooting had sent a "shockwave through the local community".
Police have urged anyone with information to come forward.

Murder inquiry launched following south Armagh shooting
The police have begun a murder inquiry folowing the death of a 27-year-old man who was shot in the legs in south Armagh. A 35-year-old man was also shot and is in hospital in a critical condition. He is being treated for gunshot wounds to his left leg. It is understood that the attack happened at around 8.

A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.

More Arrests Over Quinn Killing
Three more men have been arrested in connection with the murder of south Armagh man Paul Quinn. The men from the Forkhill and Crossmaglen areas were arrested on Thursday morning. A number of items have also been removed for examination in what police said this afternoon is the second phase of a "targeted operation" in south Armagh.

Police believe the shooting of two men in Co Armagh over the past 24 hours is connected to an ongoing loyalist feud. In the latest incident a man was shot as he sat in his car in the Killicomaine estate, Portadown, on Friday afternoon. The assailant is believed to have made off on a motorbike.
