Man assaulted in Craigavon attack
Police in Craigavon have appealed for information following a serious assault in the town yesterday.
The attack happened at around 1.30pm, when two men seriously assaulted a vulnerable 34-year-old man in the Carrigart area of the town.
Police have reported that the men approached the victim and proceeded to attack him, leaving him with a badly broken leg.
Detectives believe that the area would have been busy when the incident happened and have appealed t o members of the public who may have witnessed the attack, or have any information relating to it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Man Stabbed In Belfast
A man has been injured after being seriously assaulted in Belfast. The attack happened on the Antrim Road area just before 8.30am on Friday, 04 August. The victims, aged in his 30s, was stabbed twice in the back following an altercation between a number of people. He is being treated in hospital.

Man Shot In Co L'Derry
A man has been shot in the ankle in Co L'Derry. The paramilitary-style attack happened near the Creggan shops at around 7.45pm on Thursday, 07 December. The 41-year-old man has been taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police described the shooting as "brutal and horrific".

A 35-year-old man who brutally assaulted Irish student Natasha McShane with a baseball bat in Chicago has been jailed for 90 years. Heriberto Viramontes was sentenced at the city's Cook County Court and was convicted last October.

The attack happened in the Ardcaoin area of Poleglass at around 9.30pm on Wednesday, 18 July. The suspects threatened the pizza delivery driver, assaulted him, stole a sum of cash and made off.
