Post Office robbed in Larne
Police in County Antrim are appealing for information following a robbery at a shop yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened at the La Harna Retail Park in Larne at around 2pm yesterday, when a post office worker called at the premises to collect cash.
As the worker entered the shop, he was approached by a man carrying an iron bar.
The assailant demanded that he hand over the cash box, and then made off in a white coloured Vauxhall Vectra.
A vehicle matching the description of the car was later seen in the Ballyboley Road area of the town with red smoke coming from the interior.
The robber is described as having receding hair, and was wearing sunglasses and a blue coloured hooded top.
Police have said that the robber may be stained with orange dye from the box.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any any information related to it, should contact detectives on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Businesses Damaged By Blaze In Portstewart
An investigation has launched after a number of businesses were damaged by a blaze in The Diamond in Portstewart. The alarm was raised at 5am on Monday, however fire crews were called back at around 9.30am. A chip shop, coffee shop and hairdressers were damaged as a result. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.

Meat Cleaver Robber Sought
A female shop assistant has been threatened with a meat cleaver during a robbery in west Belfast. A man carrying a cleaver entered an off-licence on the Springfield Road at about 4pm on Tuesday and demanded cash from the till - escaping with an undisclosed sum of money. The woman was unhurt but said to be badly shaken.

A man armed with a hammer has threatened a shop worker in Lurgan. The incident happened in the Lough Road area at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, 03 October. The suspect made off with a sum of money in the direction of Victoria Street. He has been described as around 6ft tall, of stocky build and was wearing a grey hooded top and dark bottoms.

Shops Damaged In Bangor, Co Down
A number of shops in Bangor's town centre have been damaged in an attack. Police have said the incident occurred in Main Street in the town in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Windows were smashed at a number of properties, including The Mortgage Shop, Asda and Boots, while damage was also caused to vehicles in the area.

Shop assistants threatened at gunpoint
Police are appealing for information after two shop assistants were threatened by armed men in south Belfast last night. The men entered the shop on the Upper Malone Road at around 8.30pm and threatened staff with a handgun and knife. One of those threatened was a 16-year-old female.
