Katebridge pensioner robbed in home
Detectives in Banbridge have appealed for information after a pensioner was robbed in his Katesbridge home.
A gang of around three men, forced their was into the 79-year-old victims house at around 2pm yesterday, and threatened him before making off with a number of his possessions.
The gang are believed to have made their escape in a silver coloured BMW car.
The pensioner was left shocked but uninjured by the ordeal.
The first robber is described as being between 20-25-years-old, of medium build, with short black hair and clean shaven. He is said to be wearing a beige coloured jacket, a blue top with a black logo on the pocket and green trousers.
The second man is described as being around 20-25-years old, 5'8 in height with dark hair and protruding teeth. He was wearing dark top with silver flashes on the lapels and dark trousers.
The third intruder is described as being around 30-years-old, around 5'7 tall, and also with prominent teeth. He was wearing a beige top and trousers.
Detectives in Banbridge have asked for anyone who may have noticed the men in the area yesterday afternoon, or anyone who may have any information relating to the incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000 or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Two teenage boys have been robbed and assaulted in Belfast's Ormeau Park in what police are treating as a hate crime. A 15-and 16-year-old boy were walking through the park in the south of the city at about 21:30 on Saturday, when they were approached by two older teens. Teenagers injured in separate paramilitary attacks
An 18-year-old-man and a 17-year-old-youth have been injured in separate paramilitary style attacks last night. The 17-year-old youth was attacked by two men in an alleyway in the Kilclief Gardens area of Bangor at around 9.25pm. His attackers are described as being dressed in black and wearing scarves to hide their faces.

A man is recovering after he was attacked by two men in Belfast city centre in the early hours of Sunday 13 January. The victim, aged in his 30's, was attacked in the Donegall Place East area at around 3.10am. He was taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries.

Police are hunting two men after a van was hijacked at gunpoint in the Grosvenor Road area of west Belfast. The driver had parked the White Renault Traffic van on the route at around 10.20am on Monday morning, 23 September, when he was approached by the two males, one of whom is believed to have been armed with a gun.
