Boat wreckage found off north Antrim coast
A search operation is underway following the discovery of the wreckage of a boat, around five miles off the north Antrim coast.
Two lifeboats, one from Portrush, the other from Islay in Scotland, along with an RAF rescue helicopter from RAF Prestwick, are currently searching the area.
Rescue services are trying to determine whether any vessels have been reported as missing in the area.
The wreckage was found by fishermen at around 12.15pm today and it is understood to that it may be from a cabin cruiser type boat.
The debris consisted of part of a roof, a fender bouy, and various fibreglass pieces.
Coastguard have appealed for anyone with information on an overduevessel, or who may know of anyone who was planning a passage in the area, to contact them.

Divers will carry out further remote camera searches of the wreck of the sunken Tullaghmurry Lass to try to ascertain if bodies are inside. Divers believe the remains of some of the three members of the Greene family, who went missing on the boat on 14 February, may be inside.

Underwater search and recovery operation postponed
Poor weather has again hampered the underwater search for the bodies of three missing members of the Greene family. Police divers who were searching for the bodies of Michael Green, his son and his grandson postponed their search on Monday because of bad weather conditions.

Shipwrecked Sailors Search Moves To Shallows
The search for five missing Russian sailors is continuing after finding limited traces of the ship and crew and is now moving to a 'low water' search. The men were onboard the Swanland, a cargo ship that suffered 'catastrophic failure' and sank in gale force conditions in the Irish Sea on Sunday morning.

Search resumes for body of County Down fisherman
A new search has been launched to find the body of missing County Down fisherman Connor Bogues. The stormy weather of recent days has caused debris to be washed ashore, which is believed to belong to the wreckage of his boat, the Greenhill.
