Teenager dies in road smash
A 17-year-old boy has died in a road crash in County Antrim.
The incident happened on the Saintfield Road at around 9.20pm yesterday evening.
A second teenager who was also involved in the collision is still being treated in hospital for his injuries.
Police in Lisburn have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on 0800 555 111.
So far this year, 57 people have been killed on Northern Ireland's roads.

Two People Arrested In 'Rico' Murder Case
Two people have been detained as the police continue investigating the murder of a west Belfast man. Officers have arrested a 30-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man in connection with the death of Gerard Reid, known locally as 'Rico', who was found dead in a flat in Ardmonagh Parade, Turf Lodge, on Thursday morning.

Appeal Follows Bookies Robbery Bid
Detectives are appealing for information about an attempted robbery on the Springfield Road, in west Belfast. It happened shortly before 6.50pm on Monday when a female member of staff was inside a betting shop which had closed for the day when two males - one armed with a gun - kicked their way through the front door.

An appealing for information has been launched after a shooting incident in the Carlisle Square area on Sunday night. Police in North Belfast that shortly before 8.15pm, it was reported that three masked males entered a house in the area and shot a 26-year-old man in both legs.

One killed in Fermanagh road crash
A man has died following a road traffic collision in County Fermanagh. The incident happened on the Killadeas Road in Kesh shortly after 5pm yesterday. Police have revealed that two cars were involved in the collision, however no one else was injured during the incident.

Appeal After Shooting Incident In Strabane
Detectives in Strabane are appealing for information after reports of a shot being fired at a house in the Garvan Road area, Sion Mills on Wednesday, 15 February. A report of damage to a window of the house was received at approximately 10.45pm. No one was injured during this incident.
