Man released in Ballymena rape investigation
A man in his 30's, who was being questioned over the rape of a man in County Antrim, has today been released on bail.
The man was arrested yesterday morning in Ballymena, and was held overnight by police investigating the incident.
The arrest is believed to have been related to a serious sexual assault of a 25-year-old man, which took place on the Broughshane Road, close to Ballymena Rugby Club, on February 9, 2006.
It is understood that the victim was jogging in the area when he was dragged into the back of a white Transit type van by two men.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

A 48-year-old man arrested as part of a major investigation into drugs supply and money laundering in L'Derry has been released pending a report to the PPS. A 34-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman arrested in Newtownabbey as part of the same investigation both remain in custody.
