Invest NI announces £750,000 Antrim investment
Invest Northern Ireland has today announced a £750,000 infrastructure investment for Antrim Technology Park.
The investment will by used to help Invest NI upgrade facilities and improve the roads infrastructure at the Belfast Road site.
Colin Lewis, Managing Director of Corporate Services, Invest NI said: “Housing a number of successful local and international companies, Antrim Technology Park is one of Invest NI’s most attractive business sites.
“This new investment will revitalise the park and reinforce its position as a suitable location for competitive, globally focused businesses. It also serves to underline our commitment to supporting economic growth across Northern Ireland by providing modern property solutions to our clients.”
Work has just been completed on the refurbishment of the conference suite at Antrim Technology Park and infrastructure works, which will greatly improve access to the park, are scheduled for completion by December 2006.
The Mayor of Antrim Borough Council, Councillor Drew Ritchie, said: “This is a major boost for Antrim as it will further enhance the area’s ability to attract and retain investment which will bring widespread benefits to the local economy.”
